Just a few things you may be wondering about...
What if I need to add additional tickets?
Log into www.maingateticket.com using the email and password you created at checkout. On the right hand side, click the a icon under the "add or switch tickets" button. Once there, scroll down and click the button that says, "Add Tickets To Order". Do this as many times as you need. There is a limit of 7 admission tickets on each order.
Is there merchandise available?
Yes, you can purchase merchandise at our onsite store. You can also purchase some merchandise in advance with a Dinosaur Take Home Fun Pack, which is available during your online ticket transaction (while supplies last)
Do I Purchase Tickets Online Or At The event?
Tickets are sold in advance on this website only. There will not be admission tickets available at the event.
Are The Rides & Activities Included In My Ticket?
There are several activities and attractions that are included in your admission. Children will be able to interact with walking dinosaurs, meet and greet the babies, participate in a fossil find, a a Dinosaur Storytime, and maybe even enjoy a dinosaur dance party, as part of their admission. There are some PAID PREMIUM Activities as well. Tickets to participate in these activities are sold onsite only at the event ticket booth near the children's activities. These themed rides may include, but are not limited to: bounce house inflatables, interactive photo opportunities, T. rex ATV Rides that children can ride along on a track circling a T. rex. Participation in any ride or attraction is done at your own risk.
Are Tickets Refundable or Exchangeable?
All tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE but you can use our ticket swap system to change your date if you like. To switch your tickets to a different date or time, log into www.MaingateTickets.com using the email and password you created at checkout. From there, you will need to select the new day from the drop down menu. (You may need to scroll right if you are using a smaller device). You can then resend the ticket to yourself and you are all set!
Where Do I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets are available here on this website. Just click one of the Buy Tickets Button through the site.
Where is the event located?
Pierce College, which is located at 20800 Victory Blvd. in Woodland Hills, on the corner of Victory of De Soto.
Is The Event Outdoors?
Yes. Dinosaurs in the Valley is an outdoor event taking place on the grounds of Pierce College. The grounds are rough and uneven terrain. Guests are advised to proceed with caution. Proper footwear is advised.
Is the event hosted rain or shine?
Yes, it is hosted rain or shine. However, should the weather conditions require the event to be postponed, ticket holders would be notified via email and text (if cell phone number was provided during purchase). In addition, the website will be updated with event information.
I Am In The Military. Do My Guests Get In Free?
Active military personnel and veterans receive free admission. The FREE ticket is a selectable option when buying tickets. Service fees will apply. Families and guests other than the military member will still require a paid ticket.
How Long Does The Event Take?
Guests will walk-thru at their own pace. There are many things to see and photograph, so the time it takes someone to go through, is estimated on the pace they move. We just ask that guests respect this knowing that they must continue moving along to keep the flow going. Also, if you stay by a dinosaur too long, you take the risk of making them hungry.
Do I Need To Print My Tickets?
No. You do not have to print your tickets. You can show the ticket right from your device however, you can bring a printed ticket if you'd like.
I can't Find My Tickets. What Do I Do?
You can go to MainGateTickets.com and log in using the email and password you created at checkout. From there you can resend the ticket email to the same email address on file or to a different one.
Are there any size restrictions for the rides?
Riders must be under 65lbs and over 36" unless accompanied by an adult. This height restriction does not pertain to bounce houses or inflatables.
My Child is 2 Years Old. Will They Need A Ticket?
Yes, if your child is 2 years old or above, they will require a ticket. If your child is under 2, they will require a ticket from online, however their admission is free, and service fees will apply. Children under 2 are free for that individual only, and their guests must purchase advance tickets online.
I bought a photo from the interactive photo booth. When should I expect to get my photo?
Expect your photo within 48-72 hours.
Where Do I Park?
Onsite parking is available and parking fee is required and charged at the time of online ticket purchase. Parking ticket is scanned along with tickets at the event entrance. The address is 20800 Victory Blvd, Woodland Hills

Can I Bring My Pet?
Sorry, no pets are allowed, with exception to our pet dinosaurs only.
What Happens To My Tickets If The Event Is Cancelled Or Postponed?
If the event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund back to the credit card of your initial purchase. If the event date is postponed, your tickets will be honored at the new event date. This exclusively applies to show cancellations or postponements and does not cover any other reasons why you may not be able to attend the event.
Can I Bring My Own Food and Drink?
Sorry, no. There are state laws that regulate outside food and drinks from entering licensed festival areas.
What Is The Sensory Friendly Session?
This session will be an experience in a sensory modified setting with sound and light adjustments designed to be less stimulating and overwhelming for those that have sensory sensitivities.
Will There Be an ATM Onsite?

You bet! We will accept all major credit cards except for American Express
